I have been using the Chinese Medical Centre for a number of years. I have a very stressful job running a Company which operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. 10 years ago I was suffering with IBS and had tried the usual NHS led medication to no avail. Dr. Liu prescribed herbs and a course of acupuncture, I had immediate relief and had the best night’s sleep in years. After 3 months my IBS condition had ceased and I have not suffered since. Over the years I have returned to Dr. Liu with sports injuries, mainly back and shoulder. Again I have found Dr. Liu’s methods work quickly and his overall advice and support for living a long, healthy life invaluable. I have endorsed The Chinese Medical Centre to family and friends who all without exception have been very pleased with the diagnosis and subsequent treatment for their problems. I have no hesitation in recommending The Chinese Medical Centre, both Dr. Liu and his wife Dr. Jing Wang are very experienced, ethical and knowledgeable professionals.

I have been going to The CMC since May 2001 (run by Mr. Tieying Liu Leo and Mrs Jing Wang), on and off for treatment of liver congestion and Arthritis, and I found great improvement with herbal treatment with some Acupuncture and Acupressure(deep vigorous massage), them for Polymyalgia Rheumatic( inflammation of muscles and ligaments in shoulder joints). Also after the first visit, they reduced my blood pressure within 2 weeks, just with a mixture of herbs, no drugs. The therapeutic herbs have been tried and tested for 2,000 years or more. I have never had any side effects. The PMR in shoulders has practically gone, I am just left with a slightly stiff back and knee joints, which vary from day to day, my digestive system is improving all the time. I am still able to do weight training in a gym 3 times a week( have done for 33 years), at age 81, (82 next month).

I have used the The Chinese Medical Centre in Tamworth as an alternative over a number of years where I've always had trust in the care provided. My tailored course of treatment has consisted of acupressure/acupuncture and has proved to be 100% effective. There is always a friendly welcome by the excellent Drs' at this popular medical centre. I would highly recommend a visit to those who are considering another form of treatment.

About 40 years ago I suffered a Potts fracture and a pin put in my ankle, which is still there. As I have got older it has caused me problems and about 10 years ago I had an operation to improve the symptoms, unfortunately it was unsuccessful and I was informed that it would need to be fused, hence I would have no manoeuvrability. It was very painful, swollen and purple in colour. I visited the Chinese Medical Centre in Tamworth, and after 4 or 5 visits the swelling receded and the colour returned which indicated that my circulation had improved. I now visit regularly for manipulation massage and Acupuncture and have full use of my foot and ankle. At the risk sounding over dramatic I have to say the results are miraculous!!! If I had taken the advice of the Orthopaedic Surgeon I would now be disabled whereas now I am able to cycle a 100 plus miles a week and work in a job where I am on my feet for up to 12 hours a day.

After becoming increasingly crippled with sciatica and disillusioned with painkillers I booked a series of sessions with Leo who said he could make me feel “much better”. This was an understatement as he has virtually given me my life back. I am now able to walk and climb stairs comfortably after shuffling and dragging my leg for months. I have returned to my pastime of living and can keep up with the best of them. I have no hesitation in recommending Leo and his wife to my friends and consider their courteous, professional manner amongst the best. The new centre is welcoming, fit for purpose and is a pleasure to visit.
